MECHANICAL SYSTEM SURVEYS - FLUID FLOW

Fluid flow restrictions may be evident on certain applications... temperatures on this oil lubrication system manifold should be uniform on each of the oil tubes.  The 2nd tube from the top (green) is cooler due to restricted flow.  Surveys of this type of equipment are quick, accurate and can easily be rectified and re-inspected within minutes.  Altheus Infrared works with your oilers to verify correcitve action results on-the-spot.

Liquids, slurrys, cooling fluids... anything that flows through tubes or pipes can be imaged for blockages or unintended bypasses with thermal imaging.  This cleaner system is displaying a blockage on the left of the three pipes shown... the warm slurry is flowing freely through the two on the right, while a restriction or blockage was found on the left (note the valves at the top of the photo are all in the open position).  The picture tells it all, but Altheus Infrared confirms the findings using airborne ultrasound - for the most accurate results.

Heat Exchanger surveys quickly and accurately document the condition of the entire system, from the inlet and outlet temperatures of the liquid being cooled to the inlet and outlet temperatures of the cooling fluid. The body of the exchanger is surveyed for cool or hot spots. 

Altheus Infrared takes it a step further... valves feeding the system are surveyed to ensure all valves are functioning as intended.
